PRIMO EW ISOTRONIC

PRIMO is MASCHIO GASPARDO's top model for fertilization, able to guarantee high spreading precision and high performances thanks to a maximum flow of 640 kg/min. Thanks to MASCHIO GASPARDO Research & Development department work, it has been possible to obtain one of the most innovative, smart and accurate fertilizer spreaders of the market.

PRIMO EW ISOTRONIC is the version equipped with a continuous weighing system through load cells that allow proportional dosing according to the speed rate DPAE, ISOBUS communication protocol and electronic adjustment of the delivery point for section control (Section Control Pro). The new equipment enriches the already wide range of solutions offered by MASCHIO GASPARDO for fertilization, defining a new quality standard for the important crop nutrition phase.
 

Best spreading accuracy


 The distribution system is the main part of the equipment and consists of a rotovibrating agitator mounted on bearings, which transports fertilizer to the adjustable delivery point without breaking it. The heart of PRIMO project is the double shutter system. Both gates are controlled by an electric actuator: one adjusts the dose of fertilizer to be distributed, the other adjusts the opening and closing of the material outlet (ON/OFF). The simultaneous and combined shutters use maximises the spreading accuracy in all parts of the field.

In the headland operations, the actuator quickly controls and closes the ON/OFF shutter to avoid spreading of product where it is not required, while the DOSE shutter - located below the first one - continues to move in proportion to tractor speed; when spreading is restarted, the ON/OFF shutter is re-opened at the right position.  This ensures that there are no areas of over or under-dosage near the headland and spreading will be uniform in all the different areas of the field, without waste or inefficiency.

The fertilizer drop point section has a special three-lobe shape to ensure homogeneous distribution even with very low volumes. It is possible to anticipate or postpone the delivery point of the fertilizer into the disc to optimise distribution quality. Technology made in MASCHIO GASPARDO

The ISOBUS software, entirely developed by our team of engineers, allows the operator to adjust all the high-precision settings in order to obtain high-quality spreading patterns: variable fertilizer dose (VR) and 4 + 4 section control (SC). A very important accessory (available on request) for fertilization is the field edge limiter kit, specifically designed to optimise spreading at field borders and headlands, ensuring the correct spreading distribution in all parts of the field (patented system).

SMART regulation through the App MY MASCHIO GASPARDO

MASCHIO GASPARDO has developed the new App MY MASCHIO GASPARDO that, with the "SPREADER SMART SET" function, helps the operator to calculate all the adjustments of own equipment via smartphone. Just entering the fertilizer spreader model, it’s possible to get the correct parameters and a quick summary of the specifications of the used fertilizer. The user can save favourite settings to ensure a quick set-up every time the machine needs to be restarted.

The award, promoted by VeronaFiere in collaboration with Edizioni L'Informatore Agrario, aims to assign recognition for innovations present at the exhibition that stand out for innovative and original product content, as well as the impact of the same on environmental sustainability, economic sustainability, improvement in product quality and product functionality from the point of view of the end user.
