Environmental protection has always been a relevant issue for us at MASCHIO GASPARDO. The ever-increasing commitment to protect our ecosystem has made it possible to obtain national and international awards, at the product and process level.

Product awards

TORO ISOTRONIC – Technical Novelty  EIMA 2021

TORO ISOTRONIC is the first power harrow available with ISOBUS communication. The sensors distributed on the machine allow user to constantly monitor the main functions, even remotely. In addition, the numerous patented technical-structural solutions guarantee maximum robustness and an increasingly high-performaning soil refinement, through the best control of power absorption.
 
PRIMO EW ISOTRONIC – Golden leaf FIERAGRICOLA 2020

PRIMO EW ISOTRONIC stood out for the innovative and original content of the product, as well as for its impact on environmental sustainability and Precision Farming. The double disc fertilizer spreader allows operator to set all machine functions in order to obtain high quality distribution patterns: variable rate fertilizer distribution (VR), section control (SC) and distribution uniformity for best accuracy.
CHRONO – Machine of the Year 2019 SIMA 2019

The precision planter CHRONO 708, equipped with the innovative high-speed seed distribution system, wins the "Machine of the Year 2019" award at SIMA in Paris, one of the most important world events on agricultural mechanization. CHRONO, the precision planter that can plant at a speed rate of 15 km/h, has also obtained further awards:
 
  1. A report among the most innovative technologies presented at the edition of EIMA 2018;
  2. The award for best Technical Innovation at FIMA 2018 in Zaragoza;
  3. The Gold Medal at the exhibition POLAGRA 2018 in Poland;
  4. The Leaf of Innovation 2018 at FIERAGRICOLA in Verona;
  5. The SMAU Innovation Award in 2017 in Padua.
The planter is equipped with an innovative pneumatic transport and a seed distribution system with electric transmission: a lobe pump creates an adjustable air flow uniforming the seed trajectory and the system guarantees constant depth and distance of placement between seeds. The livery design, highly functional to maximize performance and ease of use, has been developed in collaboration with the Italian School of Design (SID). The high-speed planting unit has become part of the bible of the Italian design ADI INDEX after a careful selection by the Permanent Observatory of Design ADI (Association for Industrial Design).

To enhance technological innovation in terms of harmful gases reduction and soil protection.
Radical Green Award 2014 - Green Week of Venice
To certify and confirm Group's energy and environmental forsight. The award certifies that they have been chosen among the ten best Italian companies in terms of sustainability and product.
Special mention for Sustainability of Production Processes 2013 and 2014 - Symbola and Coldiretti Foundation
For sustainability of production processes.
New Energy Award Renovated Company 2012 - Padua Chamber of Commerce
For the significant reduction of its energy consumption through major investments in the adoption of renewable sources technologies.
Sustainable Development Award 2011 - Sustainable Development Foundation
For the innovative content and the effectiveness of the environmental results, for the achieved economic results and the replicability of the project. Thanks to this award, MASCHIO GASPARDO has been included among the 10 Italian companies worthy of recognition for its environmental commitment and it is mentioned in the publication "Italy of the Green Economy - Ideas, companies and products in the new global scenarios".
Technological Innovation Award 2010 - Shanghai Universal Expo
The seed drill for conservative agriculture allowed the three working phases, earlier made separately, in one single step: ploughing, seeding and fertilization. This provided a reduction of CO2 emissions equal to 70%. 

Our certifications


Safety, guarantee and high performance characteristics have been recognized by accredited Bodies through the issue of important system certifications. Using internally designed control tools, we have obtained international approvals that guarantee high quality standard, continuity of supply, energy saving and low environmental impact.
Carbon Trust Standard Certification

The awareness in the energy-environmental field demonstrated by MASCHIO GASPARDO in recent years and the desire to enhance the investments made led the company to undertake a Carbon Footprint study. The objective of the analysis is focused on the Italian plants of Campodarsego (PD), Cadoneghe (PD) and Morsano al Tagliamento (PN). The carbon footprint calculation process took into consideration two main aspects:                                                                                                                             
  • Complete collection and processing of data on energy consumption;
  • Analysis of industrial processes.
This made it possible to ascertain the reduction of its equivalent carbon footprint in the given reference period and to adequately monitor its greenhouse gas emissions. Comparing year 2012 with respect to 2011, results showed:
 
  • 23% of CO2 reduction in relative terms compared to turnover;
  • 10% CO2 reduction in absolute terms, equal to over 800 tons saving.

At the end of the assessment process on 20 September 2013, MASCHIO GASPARDO obtained the Carbon Trust Standard international certification as:

Certification ISO 9001:2015

The know-how acquired over time and the continuous study of technological innovations for the implementation of new solutions allow the Group to have a very competitive position in the international market. As a matter of fact, the factories in Italy, Romania and India boast the recognition of ISO 9001: 2015 certification.
The Quality Management System has set itself the following objectives to:
