Within MTR range, JULIA ISOTRONIC introduces the new concept of large trailed precision planter, designed for large farms that require to plant on minimally tilled soils or directly on hard ground. Thanks to over ten years’ experience in the precision plater sector, JULIA ISOTRONIC is available in 16-row versions with 70 or 75 cm spacing or 24-row with 70, 75 or 80 cm spacing.
MTR HD planting unit is characterised by even more robust structural solutions than the classic MTR unit: The parallelogram connection system with AIR SPRING for the adjustment of the pressure of the single unit on the ground, the 355 mm front disc coulter, the 14” furrow closing wheels.
The Central Seeding Delivery system allows you to transport seeds from a centralized pressure hopper to each seeding element. This is made possible by a pressurized pneumatic transport system that maintains a constant flow of seeds to each individual seeding machine.
MTR HD planting unit is coupled to the trailed type frame with two folding and floating sections up to 10° of maximum tilt, ensuring a transport footprint of 3.5 m which facilitates movement. Given the large working width, the impressive hopper supported by the main frame ensures high autonomy thanks to the internal 2,000 litres partition for the seed and 7,000 litres for the fertilizer.
In case of greater technological needs, the ISOTRONIC version with electric transmission and ISOBUS communication system, allows digital control of the planter and the use of all Precision Farming functions.
MTR HD features distinctive elements for working on difficult terrain:
AIRSPRING:
The system of air bearings mounted on each single element with centralized control from the tractor cab allows to exert a ground pressure up to 250 kg.
HIGH PLANTING AUTONOMY:
Hopper of the individual units increased to 60 l.
CLOSING WHEEL UNIT:
The system created is made of cast steel and uses V1 x 14” rubber wheels.
FRONT DISC COULTER:
The disc coulter opens the soil while the trash wheels release the residue along the planting row to facilitate seed placement.
The trailed two-section frame, which can fold at the front, allows to better follow the contour of the ground.
The pneumatic seed transportation system provides a continuous flow to the individual seeding element.
The 420 mm diameter by 4 mm thick furrow opener discs create a very narrow “V” furrow. Thanks to their triple seal, SUPER SEAL type bearings ensure a long life, which prevents dust and humidity from entering the bearing. The mud scraper guarantees maximum cleaning of the disc thanks also to the WIDIA (tungsten carbide) profile with zero wear.
Thanks to the rocker arm system, each wheel moves independently of the other and vice versa.
The fertilizer distribution system uses one electrically operated volumetric metering unit, while the transport takes place pneumatically thanks to a hydraulically operated blower.
The burying of the fertilizer on the side of the planting row is made possible thanks to the single disc coulter
